Footage and activity data

Source footage, embedded camera telemetry, previews, Projects, and exports are processed on your Mac. Send Lab does not upload those files to its own server for import, editing, preview, or export.

Send Lab references your original footage. It does not modify the source files.

Accounts and billing

If you create an account or buy Send Lab Pro, the licensing service uses the information needed to sign you in, issue your entitlement, manage your devices, and keep your plan current.

This can include your email address, an internal account ID, a pseudonymous device ID, plan and entitlement status, and service timestamps.

Stripe handles payment details and billing events. Send Lab does not store your full card number.

Google authentication, Auth.js, Neon, and Vercel may support account and licensing infrastructure. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy policy.

YouTube API Services

Send Lab uses YouTube API Services only after you connect YouTube and choose a finished local export to upload.

The video travels directly from your Mac to YouTube. Send Lab and its licensing service do not stage or keep a server copy.

You choose the destination channel, title, description, visibility, and Made for Kids setting. Send Lab sends those choices and the selected video to YouTube.

Channel identity is used briefly to confirm the destination. The resulting YouTube video ID and link return to the active app session. Send Lab keeps no server-side upload history or analytics profile.

What YouTube data Send Lab accesses, collects, stores, and uses

Send Lab reads the following from YouTube API Services, only while you are connected and only when you open the publishing panel:

• From channels.list: the ID, name, and profile image of the YouTube channel that belongs to the Google account you signed in with. This is used to show you the destination channel before you upload.
• From videos.insert: the ID and watch link of the video you just uploaded. This is used to show you the result and open it on YouTube.

Send Lab sends to YouTube only what you choose in the upload sheet: the exported video file, title, description, visibility, category, and Made for Kids setting.

The only YouTube-related item Send Lab stores is the Google refresh token, in macOS Keychain, so you do not have to sign in again. The channel ID, name, and image and the uploaded video link are held in memory for the current app session only, are fetched fresh from YouTube every time the app checks the connection, and are never written to disk, to your Projects, to diagnostic logs, or to any server. Send Lab does not collect YouTube analytics, subscriber, comment, or watch data, and does not read any video other than the one it uploads.

Sharing and disclosure of Google user data

Send Lab does not sell, rent, share, transfer, or disclose Google user data to any third party. The only transfer of Google user data is the upload you start yourself, which goes directly from your Mac to YouTube (Google). Send Lab, Haun Lab LLC, and the Send Lab licensing service never receive, relay, or store your Google user data, and no service provider, advertiser, or analytics partner receives it.

Internally, no person or system at Haun Lab LLC other than the Send Lab app running on your own Mac processes Google user data. Externally, the only party that receives it is Google (YouTube), because you asked Send Lab to upload a video there.

Google user data is never used to build advertising profiles, to train machine learning or AI models, or for any purpose other than the YouTube upload you requested. We would disclose it only if required by law, and we would notify you where the law allows.

How Google user data is protected

Your Google refresh token is stored in macOS Keychain, where it is encrypted at rest and protected by your Mac login and Keychain access controls. Short-lived access tokens are held only in memory during an active session and are never written to disk, logs, or crash reports.

All communication between Send Lab and Google APIs uses HTTPS (TLS) encryption in transit. Send Lab requests only the minimum YouTube scopes needed to confirm your channel and upload the video you chose. Because Google user data never leaves your Mac except to go to Google, Send Lab operates no server that stores it, and there is no server database of Google user data to breach or leak.

Information stored on your device, and cookies

On your Mac, Send Lab stores the Google refresh token (macOS Keychain) and the version of this privacy policy you accepted (app local storage). Your Projects, exports, and diagnostic logs are also on your Mac, but they contain footage and settings, not YouTube data.

The Send Lab app does not place cookies, pixels, fingerprints, or similar tracking technology on your device, and does not allow any third party to do so. Google sign-in opens in your default web browser, where Google may set its own cookies under the Google Privacy Policy; Send Lab cannot read them. The Send Lab website and account pages use only first-party, strictly necessary cookies for sign-in sessions and security; they use no advertising or analytics cookies.

How long YouTube data is kept and how often it is refreshed

Channel information and uploaded video links are kept for the current app session only and are re-fetched from YouTube on every connection check, so nothing is ever more than one session old and nothing is retained for 30 days. The refresh token is kept until you disconnect, until Google revokes it (Send Lab deletes it on the next check), or until you ask us to delete your data. Any authorized YouTube data Send Lab holds is refreshed or deleted at least every 30 days.

Using YouTube features also means agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google explains its own data practices in the Google Privacy Policy.

Disconnecting and deletion

“Disconnect and delete access” asks Google to revoke Send Lab and removes the refresh token and related connection data from your Mac.

If Google cannot confirm revocation, remove Send Lab in Google third-party access settings. Disconnecting does not delete videos already uploaded to YouTube.

To delete your Send Lab account and service data, email sendlab.support@haunlab.com.

Authorized YouTube API data is deleted as soon as possible and within seven days of a valid request. If you revoke Google access elsewhere, Send Lab clears related local authorization data when it next detects the change.

Diagnostics, website, and retention

Send Lab does not sell personal information, use footage for advertising, or place advertising trackers on this website.

Diagnostic logs stay on your Mac unless you choose to send them for support.

Account, entitlement, billing, security, and support records are kept only as long as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse.

You can edit and export without connecting YouTube. You can disconnect YouTube at any time.
